Monnet to revise proposal

Monnet Ispat and Energy on Friday decided to revise its proposal to set up a 0.25 million-tonne capacity steel plant at Mangalpur in Dh-enkanal district in Orissa. Speaking to reporters after his meeting with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Monnet Ispat and Energy executive director and vice-president Sandeep Jajodia said the company is now planning to set up a 2.5 million-tonne steel project.The new MoU will be signed within six months.
